Don't get me wrong, my 'saved' section on Instagram is basically a continuous scroll of inspiration for pilates sequences or upper body strength days. Which, as an instructor, is a great way for me to diversify my classes. But, as a student…

If I’m showing up to the gym after a long day of meetings that could’ve been emails, or even utilizing the hotel gym on vacation, I know my motivation will plummet the second I have to stop every 8 reps to unlock my phone and re-examine a 2x-speed video of a lunge. Hitting pause. Missing a cue. Internet times out. The app keeps losing the video I was on when my phone locks..

Not to mention, every time I open a TikTok or Reel to see what the next move is, my re-listen of Iceman gets interrupted by whatever trending audio made the video land on my FYP in the first place.
